So basically I have the best husband ever!! I would not make a whole blog post dedicated to this point except I have been very ungrateful and crabby to him lately. I want to express what a wonderful man he is so I can at least feel better about my behavior. I know he does not want me to post how great he is, nor does he want me to do anything to make up for being selfish. Although, I am sure he would love me to change my ways! He has put up with me for almost 7 years now!!
First off, he spoils me all of the time. For example, for Valentines day he changed it to Valentines week! We went out to dinner, I got a pedicure, he watched the kids so I could go out with my friends that Saturday night, made me special nachos, got me flowers, and wrote me a message with peanut butter M & M's. I am probably missing something else as well. The point is despite how EXTREMELY busy he is, he still makes time for me.
Then there is the fact that he is an outstanding individual and has made me a much better person than I was 7 years ago. He does not complain about anything. If the dishes are not done, or the house is not clean, or if I bought a keyboard or photo shop and have not stuck with it quite yet. I am sure he does feel frustration towards me on a daily basis, but as he says, these are small boxes and don't mean anything. I wish I could keep things in perspective and not get worked up for the sake of complaining. Also, he is always finding the best in people and has NEVER complained about my family or people he works with at church, etc. It is hard to ALWAYS be such a good example, but my husband does it on a daily basis. He is such a hard worker and excels at all he does. I appreciate him doing well at work and school so he can provide for the family he LOVES so so much! He is such a great father and that is one of the things I love most about him. The patience and love he gives to our children is undeniable!
I could go on and on. But I do not want to regret letting him know he is the love of my life and that I really do appreciate all he does and the man he is. I tell him, but not enough, and sometimes I feel like when I do tell him these things he may feel they are not whole hearted. David, I LOVE YOU!
